The Nineteen 90ies of Bugatti historyA four-door sedan Bugatti EB112 based on EB110 platform was introduced in 1993. Volkswagen concern bought Bugatti trade mark in 1999. The first automobile designed by the company under the new management was EB118 coupe with its body made of fiberglass reinforced plastic. It was ItanDesign studio`s stylish Fabricio Jujaro who came up with such a design idea. That was also the year when such models as Bugatti EB218 (a sedan with an all-aluminium body), concept Bugatti EB 18/3 Chiron named to commemorate a great French racer Luis Chiron, and Bugatti EB 18/4 Veyron independently designed by Volkswagen design-center were introduced. |
